Metis Automation have experience developing applications to control systems and report and display system response.

We have recently helped a client to develop a new product to control automated opening a valves, whilst logging system parameters to monitor mechanical wear of the system.

PID

To develop a prototype product we used a NI USB-6210 device to log data and to generate a PWM output. We developed an application using PID control functions to provide accurate control of the system.

After proving out operation of this product, we helped our client to develop the next stage of the product by developing an embedded solution using a PIC18F microcontroller.
