Automated Brake Test System
Our client, Federal Mogul – manufacturer of Ferodo brake pads required a test system to measure force, temperature of brake pads under load for the duration of tests spanning several hours.
At Metis Automation we were able to deliver a LabVIEW program with a simple, clean user interface to run and configure tests, and Data Acquistion hardware to condition signals in a noisy environment.
Test Sequencer
Metis Automation have developed a customisable Test Sequencer application to let you run, edit and configure custom test sequences for your products.
A simple, clean user interface reduces risks of user errors and mistakes.
Configured test are shown in a sequence of steps, which are run through sequentially, displaying a Pass / Fail indicator when complete.
Data is saved to .csv, or exported in MS Excel
Tests and steps can be configured by administator level users, sequences can then be saved against product part numbers. This ensures that when a user enters a product part number, the correct tests are performed.
