Automated Test Systems
A test system for a hydraulic valve manufacturer based in Runcorn and Widnes, this involved an application to use PID real time control for a motor to control a hydraulic pump. The application then started an automated test by prompting the operator to scan a barcode. This generated a test sequence with a pass or fail result displayed to the operator.
Process Control
Metis Automation worked on a weld process control system, for s company based in Bolton, that automated the handling, positioning and weld process parameters of a weld process using a National Instruments PXI system.
Data Acquisition
Metis Automation develop configurable data acquisition and SCADA systems to display data on charts and log data to .csv files. Parameters can be added and removed from displays easily by an operator or engineer.
