Metis Automation enabled hydaulic valve supplier to offshore oil rigs, Bifold Fluid Power to verify valve response time of their products.

Metis Automation developed a custom solution using National Instruments LabVIEW software and alow cost USB Data Acquisition device to monitor live pressure signals in control valves. This system allows engineers at Bifold to verify how quickly their products respond in a resolution of milliseconds – this gives essential information relating to the in field performance of products and helps improve the quality of products shipped to customers.

Combining National Instruments DAQ devices with LabVIEW applications provides users with flexible, reliable data acquisition platforms.

Metis Automation can help to develop flexible and reliable LabVIEW applications to log, display and save data over extended time periods at a range of frequencies.

A recent project saw us help Serco Technical Services develop a stable system for logging strain gage data from 13 sensors using several NI 9237 bridge modules, the client wanted to be able to log data during a destructive test of material samples.

We were able to implement a complete solution during a one day on site consultation for our client.
