Bifold Fluid Power manufacture hydraulic and pneumatic control values for the offshore oil & gas industry.

Engineers contacted us to develop automated test equipment to satisfy their client – General Electric’s requirement for cycle testing of a product over a period of 3 months.

We developed a data logging solution using an NI USB 6210 DAQ device, and an industrial relay control USB 6525 device to cycle valve solenoids.

Test Software user interface, valve are cycled ON/OFF, and pressure are monitored against limits. The test engineer configures the number of cycles to complete.

We developed software that cycled solenoids On/Off in a sequence, and repeated this for a number of cycles, that can be defined by a test engineer. All data is recorded to a file, which can then be used by Bifold to prove performance of the product to their client.

A configuration screen, where engineers can configure analogue inputs, and pressure limits for when valves are engergised / de energised.
