TRW Automotive manufacture switch units for automotive manufacturers including Aston Martin, Lotus & McClaren. Sample switches from each batch must be quality checked to ensure correct mechanical and electrical operation.

We were commissioned to provide a modern, easy to configure and use Automated Test Equipment solution for TRW. Utilising an NI USB 6211 DAQ device, and LabVIEW software, we developed a full test and reporting package for engineers at TRW.

Test Software main User Interface, were the torque response and electrical contacts of a switch are recorded as it is moved throughout its range of movement.
